[coherence-dev] device-specific behaviour item in conf file - call for beta-testers

Hello,
I will soon commit to svn a patch which allows configuring device
specific behaviours (such as what we have for XBox, PS3, Philips TV...)
directly from configuration: things such as forced mimetype changes,
disabling of DLNA additionnal info, XBox-WMP UPnP idiosynchrasises.....
This is something Fuppes or Twonky, for instance, already do, to some
extent.
This should allow us to support more UPnP client devices, without
directly tweaking with the python code. Later, this could also allow
other things such as hiding some servers (or some items) for specific
clients, client-specific transcoding profiles....

Problem is: I am replacing all the code already polished to handle XBox
and PS3 devices (specifically). And I do not own such devices. So the
risk of breaking things up is real.
Side-effect is that XBox-PS3 owners may have to update their
configuration file for coherence to continue working the same way.

So, I am looking for beta-testers owning either an XBox or a PS3 (or
another device for which something specific had to be implemented with
coherence to work correctly) to check this out.
Anyone eager to test this out there?
If none, I guess I'd end up committing the thing out and break things
anyway. :-)

Regards,

Jean-Michel
